Solved: Findstr is not recognized as an internal


In The previous article we discussed about Solved RPM Installation: can’t create transaction lock on /var/lib/rpm/__db.000 in Redhat and CentOS

While installing JMeter I encountered an Error:

findstr is not recognized as an internal or external command

Solution:

  • Right click on My Computer / This PC
  • Click on Properties
  • Click on Advance System Settings
  • Click on Advanced Tab
  • Click on Environment Variables
  • Go to System Variables Section
  • Select Path Variable

  • Click on Edit-It will open a Dialogue box to Edit Environment Variables
  • Click on New
  • Enter value: C:WindowsSystem32

  • Click on Ok
  • Close all remaining dialogue boxes by clicking on Ok
  • Execute jmeter.bat again.
  • Solved!
